I see. Should I buy it Japanese or English? I always prefer the original language...so...hmmm

Also found another book, which could be similiar to Twinkle:

Reviews are good so I might buy it...

I've started reading a book I bought long time ago (several months back).
Also...at a local comic shop...I've bought I book I've longed for several months ago...but didn't bought it (b/c of school). --> The Green Rider    - Kristin Britain.

That book you list, seems to be a different story. Choose the language of your choice. But I think it is strange to buy a book,if you do not understand what is written inside of it.

Well, yes it is strange to buy things you can't read, but that the thing..... study and study and read and read until you understand. That's why I had Japanese manga, native language, untranslated, uncut, unedited...and it was quite hard indeed. But it's fun....I leard things that I never thought I would learn..hmmmm

Meanwhile, bought more books...all for my dissertation...: about popculture, marketing across Asia, Marketing across cultures, and more. Oh yah, I also got Annotated Alice in Wonderland, wonderful book!

Finally, my dissertation is rolling. I could use some help....(your thoughts and ideas) --> see new topic.

Anyways, the books I've ordered and received (for now) are:
The new Japanese Woman
Recreating Japanese Women, 1600 - 1945
Becoming Modern Women (Love & Female Identity in Prewar Japanese Literature & Culture).

Main research question:
In what way did the Japanese perspective on female beauty change under the influence under the American occupation after WWII?

Thanks for your thoughts/ideas (I'm stuck in a way).
